Me-262 DML...

This was one of the most exiting projects ever done for me...first, the DML (Dragon version) kit in 1/48 was (and even today) one of most complete and full of details...each part of the model is a project in itself. The only problem with DML "professional kits" was the difficult with photo etched parts. This first generation PE was very hard to work with it. Many people hate DML kits for many reasons: hard plastic, poor fitting, many ultra small plastic parts impossible to detach from its sprue, etc.

I had made a lot of DML kits, always with a great pleasure and getting excellent results.
Me262 capture my full attention when I saw it for a first time when I was a child, and did a lot of models in my life. Just only three of them are in my shelves. This one is the only 1/48 version still here. I spend many time to admire the lines and shape of that marvel.

I declare my eternal love to DML kits!!
