Fokker Dr.I ...

Some time ago, I expressed my admiration and eternal love to DML kits. To any modeler is a must to build a Fokker Dr.I at least once a time in our lives. My first model was made in the first half of 60's, when a child, in the Red Baron guise of course. I remember the Revell 1/28 scale, was a marvel in its times but an obsolete one at today standards.

But, DML version in 1/48 of that famous fighter is superb. No fit problems, no putty needed, excellent details, just fun. The weight of the final model is impressive. After many kits build in overall red paint, this time I select another famous plane... the Ltn Friedrich Kempf mount, an ace of IWW, as is the central motif of DML kit.

"Chapeau" to DML for this wonderful kit.

Panavia IDS Tornado...

I dont know why, I'm a fan of this aircraft. Clearly, this kind of subject is not in my focus but I can not fight against its charm.

Its strong personality and beauty, finally caught my total attention. Really, I have no reason at all to do this project...simply, I felt in love with this machine.

A lot of years ago, my wife, in our first year, give me this Italeri 1/72 kit because she thought that it looks "cute". Well, after open the box and cut out some pieces from sprues, the magic happens...

What to say about this kit...well done but not a fantastic one. This is a basic quality molds, but good enough looking at the costs. Moreover, the final result is a very decent and attractive model.

Fokker D.VII...

Yes, this is another of the classical subject that every aircraft modeler must do, at least once a time.

I said before I love DML kits. This is one of the best in 1/48 ever produced by this company. Extraordinary flying machine, D.VII is a must in every company catalog. One thing that helps to the great popularity of that subject is its simple rigging plan. I'd brought a Roden Fokker D.VII kit some time ago, but is not so good as DML.
