Fw190 A-8 red 13...

This is another DML/Trimaster 1/48 kit.What a pleasure to do it!!
You can hate or love Dragon kits of early 90's...I love it despite all of its imperfections.
But, the final result always is spectacular (well, with a little patience).
This specific kit is a good rendition to one of the most successful fighter pilot of all times: Heinz Bär. He flew more that 1.000 combat missions and has more than 220 kills, 16 of them mounting Me-262 jet fighter. He was shot down in 18 occasions!!...but was killed in an aerial accident in 1957.

The detail level of the kit is crispy and reasonably accurate (very, indeed)...the final result is outstanding and an absolute eye-catcher.

Some decals was replaced by hand made templates and painted directly on the plane. This was one of the most exiting projects ever made in my life (I have more that 50 years as a modeler) and it was my first Fw190 in 1/48 scale.
